ATTRACTIONS

AROUND THE INN
Try a cappuccino from Nautical Bean and enjoy a stunning sunset from the Inn's bayview fire pits. Don't miss "Beer at the Merrimaker" just across the street, every Monday at 5 to 7PM after the local farmers market .
KAYAKING AND SUPING
Kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and small boat sailing are quite popular. At high tide there is small boat launching at the Baywood Pier just across the street. Check out our horseback riding video.
WALKING THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Sweet Springs Nature Preserve is a short walk. You can take the Baywood Beach Walk which wraps around the peninsula. At high tide you might get your feet wet, but the views will be worth it.
BAYWOOD STREET FESTIVALS
Junefest is a carnival with a Kayak race and a 4-mile run. It’s close, so relax and enjoy. Baywood also hosts Octoberfest with  a Halloween parade, another 4-mile run and lots of great food and beer.
NEIGHBORHOOD DINING
La Palapa restaurant, next to the Inn, offers Mexican cuisine with fresh seafood. Next door is  the popular High St Deli. There's Noi and Doi's Thai, and Nautical Bean across the street.  Behind the Inn up 3rd Street is Beerwood.  All these are Baywood's best casual dining.
DIVE BAR FAVORITE
ONLY Los Osos-Baywood has the epitome "dive bar" known as The Merrimaker.  The original Blue Heron restaurant has been reopened with new owners as Mirazur.  Their desserts are quite popular and Mirazur is arguably the tastiest fine dining restaurant in SLO County!!!
